Islamabad – The federal government and the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) have praised the Ministry of Interior’s initiative to grant free visas to citizens of over 120 countries. Sources within the SIFC stated that the measures taken by the Ministry of Interior to promote tourism in Pakistan are commendable and have boosted the country’s economy and religious tourism. Sources further revealed that all objections raised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in this regard have been dismissed, and the Ministry of Interior has been directed to take further steps to improve the initiative.
