NUST Students to Walk for Water Conservation in Islamabad

Islamabad,News desk The National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST) is taking a stand for water conservation with a dedicated walk scheduled for February 27, 2025, at its H-12 campus in Islamabad. The event, titled “NUST’s Water Conservation Walk 2025,” aims to raise awareness about the critical need to save water and promote sustainable practices for a water-secure future.

Under the banner “Save Water: NUST for a Water-Secure Future,” the university is calling upon its student body, faculty, and staff to participate in this “Walk-For-Action.” The walk will take place from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, with specific routes to be communicated to the various schools within the university.
“Water conservation is a pressing issue, and we believe it’s our responsibility to educate and engage our community in taking action,” stated a spokesperson for NUST. “This walk is a symbolic step towards fostering a culture of responsible water usage and ensuring a sustainable future for all.”
