U.S. Diplomatic Team Visits Flood-Affected Areas in Kasur

Kasur – In light of the recent flood situation in Kasur, a representative team from the U.S. Embassy visited the flood-hit areas to review the relief efforts and express solidarity with the affected communities.

Deputy Commissioner Imran Ali and District Police Officer (DPO) Muhammad Waseem Khan warmly received the delegation. District Emergency Officer Dr. Nayyar Alam briefed the team on Rescue 1122’s relief operations and emergency response activities in the district.

The U.S. delegation expressed sympathy with the families affected by the disaster and appreciated the timely action, public service, and professionalism demonstrated by the district administration.

This visit was described as a symbol of humanitarian cooperation and a reflection of the strong ties between Pakistan and the United States in times of crisis.
