Moscow, February 12, 2026: Pakistan’s Ambassador to the Russian Federation, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, held an important meeting with Vasily Osmakov, Deputy Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation, to discuss avenues for strengthening bilateral cooperation.
According to an official statement issued by the Embassy of Pakistan in Moscow, both sides reviewed ongoing engagements and explored new opportunities to expand collaboration in areas of mutual interest, particularly in the defence sector.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on upcoming high-level visits between the two countries. The two officials underlined the importance of sustained dialogue and regular institutional contacts to further solidify Pakistan–Russia relations.
Reaffirming their shared commitment, both sides expressed their resolve to deepen constructive engagement and enhance mutually beneficial cooperation across key sectors.
