CONTROVERSY ROCKS PAKISTAN SCOUTS CADET COLLEGE

Islamabad Special Report: A scandal has engulfed the Pakistan Scouts Cadet College in Batrasi, Mansehra, following allegations of embezzlement and misconduct.

 

Embezzlement Uncovered

Tauqeer ul Islam, ex-acting principal, was suspended and subsequently found guilty of embezzling Rs. 12.7 million from college funds. An inquiry led by the Deputy Chief Commissioner of the Pakistan Boy Scouts Association (PBSA) exposed Islam’s wrongdoing, resulting in his compulsory retirement.

Immoral Activities

Faraz Yasir, a chemistry lecturer, was terminated due to immoral activities within the college. These actions aimed to curb corruption and immoral behavior within the institution.

Attempts to Mislead

Islam and others involved allegedly misled notable individuals, including the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, to protect their interests.
