Chinese Fugitive Arrested at Lahore Airport

Islamabad, Pakistan – Zubair Kasuri reports that Ma Zahfing, a Chinese national wanted for defrauding millions of rupees in China, was arrested yesterday at Lahore Airport. Zahfing, who had been residing in Pakistan for an extended period, was apprehended while attempting to flee the country.
Sources within law enforcement confirmed that the Chinese government had requested assistance from Pakistani authorities three months prior to Zahfing’s arrest. The Interior Ministry acted swiftly, canceling Zahfing’s visa and issuing an alert to law enforcement agencies.
Zahfing was subsequently placed on a stop list, leading to his detention at the airport. Security sources indicate that he is currently being processed for extradition to China to face charges.
