Islamabad / Lahore: Promotional posters for Indus AI Week 2026, a nationwide technology and artificial intelligence
initiative, have been prominently displayed inside multiple Tim Hortons outlets across Pakistan.
According to on-ground observations, the posters have been placed at visible locations inside store
interiors, allowing customers to easily view details of the upcoming AI-focused week. Indus AI
Week 2026 is scheduled to take place from February 9 to 15, 2026, featuring more than 40
activities across Pakistan.
The poster highlights a wide range of initiatives including Technology and Innovation Hubs,
GovTech and DefenceTech showcases, AR/VR and robotics demonstrations, AI bootcamps,
national training programs, esports championships, industry expos, and global collaboration events.
The initiative is being organized under Tech Destination Pakistan with the support of the Ministry of
IT & Telecom. Industry analysts describe the visibility of a government-backed technology event
inside an international food and beverage brand’s outlets as a strategic outreach effort aimed at
engaging urban youth, professionals, and digitally active audiences.
No official statement has been issued so far by Tim Hortons or the event organizers regarding the
in-store promotional activity. However, the move is being viewed as an innovative approach to
increasing public awareness and participation in Pakistan’s rapidly evolving artificial intelligence
and technology ecosystem.
