Islamabad, February 12, 2026 — Zong has entered into a strategic partnership with Samsung to introduce the upcoming Galaxy S26 Series in Pakistan, in a move aimed at accelerating the adoption of 5G-ready smartphones nationwide.
The collaboration will provide Zong customers with exclusive pre-booking opportunities, bundled offers, and a structured trade-in program for Samsung devices at selected Zong Customer Service Centers (CSCs) across the country. The initiative is designed to expand access to premium 5G-ready devices while supporting the growth of Pakistan’s evolving smartphone ecosystem.
Exclusive Retail and Trade-In Program
As part of the partnership, Samsung Shop-in-Shop experience zones have been established at selected Zong CSCs, starting in Islamabad. These dedicated spaces allow customers to explore the latest Samsung flagship devices through live demonstrations and assisted purchase support.
Zong will also introduce a formal trade-in mechanism for Samsung handsets, enabling customers to upgrade to the Galaxy S26 Series through a streamlined and affordable process. Industry analysts view this development as a step toward formalizing device upgrade cycles within Pakistan’s telecom retail landscape.
Digital Integration via My Zong App
Beyond physical retail, Samsung devices will also be integrated into the My Zong App, allowing customers to browse, pre-book, and engage with the Galaxy S26 Series through digital channels. Nationwide availability is expected to align with the official February 2026 launch window.
Strengthening Pakistan’s 5G Ecosystem
Officials from both companies emphasized that the partnership aligns with broader efforts to enhance digital inclusion and prepare the market for next-generation connectivity.
By combining Samsung’s flagship technology with Zong’s nationwide retail and digital infrastructure, the collaboration aims to improve accessibility to advanced smartphones and encourage wider participation in Pakistan’s digital economy.
The move signals growing competition in the premium smartphone segment as telecom operators position themselves ahead of Pakistan’s anticipated 5G rollout.
