Iran Warns of Bigger Military Action

Tensions in the Middle East have increased after reports of missile attacks involving Iran and US military facilities. According to the claims in the original report, Iran launched missile attacks targeting US military bases in the region following US strikes on important Iranian infrastructure. These claims have not been independently verified in the text provided.

A senior Iranian official also warned that Iran could take much stronger military action if the United States continues to carry out attacks on Iranian targets.

The warning was made by Mohsen Rezaee, a senior commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and a member of Iran’s Expediency Discernment Council.

According to the report, Rezaee said Iran is no longer willing to respond with limited or equal retaliation. Instead, he warned that if the United States continues its military operations, Iran could launch a much larger offensive.

In his statement, Rezaee said:

“We are no longer satisfied with reciprocal retaliation. If the United States continues its attacks, we will move toward a complete offensive and total destruction.”

His comments suggest that Iran may change its military strategy if the conflict continues to escalate.

The report also claimed that the news of the attacks had an immediate impact on global oil markets.

According to the report, oil prices rose sharply, with crude oil climbing close to $90 per barrel after being below $75 per barrel the previous day.

Some market analysts on social media platform X predicted that Brent crude oil could rise above $100 per barrel if the conflict becomes more serious. Rising oil prices often reflect fears that military tensions in the Middle East could disrupt global energy supplies, as the region is one of the world’s largest oil-producing areas.

The report further claimed that another video showed missiles striking Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan, a military base that hosts US personnel and aircraft.

According to the claims, the footage showed large fires at parts of the base, including soldiers’ accommodation areas and fuel storage facilities. However, the report did not provide independent verification of the video’s authenticity or the extent of the reported damage.

The latest developments highlight the growing tensions between Iran and the United States. Any further military escalation could increase security risks across the Middle East, affect global energy markets, and raise concerns among the international community about the possibility of a wider regional conflict
