ISLAMABAD (Special Reporter): Young students who completed a mentorship programme organised by the Pak American Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce (PACCC) were recognised at a ceremony held at Mövenpick Hotel, Islamabad, bringing together government representatives, business leaders, mentors and students.

Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhry attended the event as chief guest.

Organised under the theme “Mentoring Today, Leading Tomorrow,” the ceremony focused on the role experienced professionals can play in helping young people explore career opportunities, develop practical skills and prepare for professional life.

PACCC Vice President Rana Khurram Ali Khan introduced the Chamber and outlined its mentorship initiative, while PACCC President Naveed Anwar welcomed the participants and guests.

Ambassador Tariq Kareem also addressed the gathering.

A key part of the event was the recognition of students who had participated in the mentorship programme. Certificates were presented to acknowledge their involvement and learning experiences.

Two students shared their experiences with the audience, explaining what they had learned and how guidance from experienced professionals had contributed to their personal and professional development.

The ceremony also offered students an opportunity to interact with professionals and business representatives outside the classroom environment.

Through its mentorship initiative, PACCC seeks to build stronger connections between young people and experienced members of the professional and business community.

The event concluded with a certificate presentation and group photographs featuring guests, organisers and participating students.
