Czech Embassy, Kaarvan Crafts Foundation Join Hands to Support Women Entrepreneurs

The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Pakistan, in collaboration with Kaarvan Crafts Foundation, organised a colourful craft exhibition at a local hotel in Islamabad yesterday to support women entrepreneurs and small-scale artisans.
Women from Lahore, Punjab and other parts of Pakistan showcased traditional clothing, embroidered fabrics, handicrafts and various locally produced items, highlighting their creativity and craftsmanship.
Czech Ambassador to Pakistan Ladislav Steinhübel, accompanied by his wife, visited different stalls, interacted with participating women and appreciated their skills and entrepreneurial spirit.
Speaking to The News and Daily Jang, the ambassador said Pakistan was like a second home to him and expressed his commitment to supporting Pakistani women working at the grassroots level.
