Islamabad: Zubair Kasuri: Air Link Communication Limited, one of Pakistan’s established technology manufacturing and distribution companies, is set to formally launch its AirEV electric motorcycles and scooters in Lahore on November 4, expanding from smartphones, smart televisions and consumer electronics into electric mobility.
The launch, under the slogan “Meri Sawari, AirV Wali!”, is scheduled for 4:30 pm at the Grand Ballroom of Faletti’s Hotel, Lahore.
Chief Executive Officer Muzaffar Hayat Paracha said the company’s objective is to make affordable, technologically advanced and durable transportation accessible to Pakistani consumers. He said the company had conducted extensive research and strengthened its research and development capabilities, with a particular focus on battery performance, product durability and suitability for local conditions.
Paracha emphasised that spare parts, technical support, after-sales service and customer satisfaction would be central to AirEV’s strategy. He said customers should not face unnecessary difficulties in maintaining their vehicles.
Established in 2014, Airlink has grown from mobile phone distribution into local manufacturing, smart televisions, consumer electronics and retail. Through Select Technologies, its operations have a stated annual capacity of approximately 12 million mobile phones and 360,000 smart televisions. Its business relationships include Xiaomi, Tecno, Samsung and other international brands, while its consumer electronics activities extend to smart televisions and home appliances.
Airlink’s existing dealer relationships, distribution channels and retail outlets across Pakistan could help introduce AirEV products in multiple cities. The company has yet to announce the full AirEV-specific dealership and service network, however.

Airlink’s move into electric transportation reflects its wider diversification, with pricing, battery reliability, spare parts and after-sales support likely to be decisive in establishing consumer confidence.
