Zong makes major reshuffle in its team

Zong has been given the role of Executive Director Commercial to Moied Javeed. In this role he will report to Dy. CEO. Director Sales & Distribution and Marketing department will directly report to him. He will be based in HQ, but will also continue to look after all Central Regions as General Manager Central.

Mr. Moied Javeed joined us as General Manager Central in November 2015. He has over 20 years of sales & marketing experience. He has served at senior positions within various telecoms, media and FMCG companies. Before Zong, he was working with Mobilink in the capacity of Head of Sales. His major exposure in telecom industry is in the area of sales planning, channel management, P & L, brands, marketing and customer life cycle management. He has done BS Electrical Engineering from University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore.

Mr. Zahir Shah has joined us as Director Sales & Distribution. In this role he will report to Executive Director Commercial.

Mr. Zahir is an ex-employee who brings a rich experience of 19 years to Zong family. During his career he has gathered diverse exposure in sales, business development, capability building of S & D eco system, trade marketing, P & L, distribution and product launches. He has served in various Telecom, FMCG and Cement companies. In his most recent assignment he was working as Capacity and Capability Building Coach – Commercial for Lafarge Cement Zimbabwe Ltd. He has done MBA from University of Peshawar.Mr. Zhang Peng has been given the role of Director Business Development & Strategy. In this role he will report to Executive Director Business Development & Strategy.Mr. Xie Xuesong has been relieved of his Acting Director role in Sales & Distribution but will continue to serve in his original role of Dy. Director Sales & Distribution. In this role he will report to Director Sales & Distribution.

All three General Managers will report to Dy. CEO. These changes are effective immediately.We are delighted to welcome these individuals in the mentioned roles and we appreciate their stature as we move further towards achieving our organizational objectives
