The survey, conducted between January 3 and January 18, 2024, revealed that 44 percent of participants believe their financial situation has worsened over the past ten years.

During the survey, 35 percent of respondents reported an improvement in their financial status, while 16 percent stated that there has been no significant change over the past decade. Additionally, 5 percent opted not to respond to the question regarding their financial situation.

The findings shed light on the economic challenges faced by a considerable portion of the Pakistani population, reflecting concerns about financial stability and prosperity. Economic factors and external pressures may contribute to the perceived decline in financial well-being among a substantial portion of respondents.

In response to another crucial question, 41 percent of surveyed Pakistanis expressed a sense of increasing insecurity in the country. The survey report highlighted that 39 percent strongly disagreed with the notion of feeling safer in Pakistan compared to previous years.
