Unfortunate Incident Unfolds at PSL 9 Match in Multan
During the Pakistan Super League PSL 9 match between Quetta Gladiators and Multan Sultans in Multan, an unfortunate incident marred the game as families of Quetta Gladiators’ members, including Mohammad Amir, Moin Khan, and Umar Amin, faced harassment. They were forcibly removed from their VIP box at the Multan Cricket Stadium, leading to a heated controversy.
Allegations of Mistreatment and Foul Language
DC Multan, Rizwan, allegedly mistreated and used foul language against the families of Quetta Gladiators’ members, as per reports. The franchise management, however, claimed that they were in a district administration box and were asked to leave.
Protests and Appeal by Quetta Gladiators
Following the incident, Quetta Gladiators’ players and management protested strongly in front of PCB officials, expressing their dissatisfaction with the behavior of DC Multan. The Gladiators have appealed to the Chief Minister of Punjab, who also serves as the Chairperson of PCB, and the government to take action against the intolerable conduct of DC Multan.
PCB’s Intervention and Relocation
With PCB’s intervention, the families were eventually relocated in vehicles and shifted to another suitable environment, providing them a more secure and comfortable space.

The controversy has sparked calls for action against those responsible for the harassment and emphasizes the need for continued monitoring of such incidents to ensure the safety and well-being of players’ families during PSL matches.
