Kieron Pollard Takes a Brief Break from Karachi Kings for Anant Ambani’s Pre-Wedding Festivities

Pakistan Super League PSL 9: Karachi Kings’ dynamic all-rounder, Kieron Pollard, has temporarily bid farewell to the squad as he heads to Mumbai to partake in the pre-wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani, son of business magnate Mukesh Ambani. This short hiatus will see Pollard absent from the Kings’ lineup for four days, impacting their crucial encounter against Multan Sultans on March 3 at the National Bank Stadium, Karachi.

The Caribbean powerhouse is expected to rejoin the team on March 4 in Rawalpindi, gearing up for the face-off against Quetta Gladiators on March 6. Pollard’s absence is noteworthy as he has been a linchpin for Karachi Kings, contributing significantly to their successful campaign in PSL 9.

In the ongoing season, Pollard’s performances have been stellar, amassing 196 runs in five innings at an impressive strike rate of 161.98. Notably, he shares the top spot for the most sixes, hitting 12 maximums alongside Lahore Qalandars’ Rassie van der Dussen.

Despite his brief departure, Pollard remains a key figure in Karachi Kings’ pursuit of success in the remainder of PSL 9. His return will be eagerly awaited, with fans hopeful that his prowess will continue to guide the Blues through crucial encounters.
