PIA Prohibits Photography During Aircraft Maintenance for Security Reasons

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has enforced a strict ban on unauthorized photography and videography during aircraft maintenance procedures, citing serious concerns over security and confidentiality.

In an official statement, the national carrier revealed that unauthorized individuals had been capturing images and videos during maintenance work without prior approval.

“This represents a grave breach of confidentiality and poses substantial security risks,” a PIA spokesperson emphasized.
