Pakistanis Stranded in Iran Continue to Return Home via Gwadar

Gwadar: The repatriation of Pakistani citizens stranded in Iran is ongoing, with 7,519 Pakistanis having returned home through the Gabd/Remdan border since June 12. Immigration officials state that those returning include students, pilgrims, tourists, and businesspeople.

According to recent reports, 696 Pakistani citizens, including 59 students, arrived back in Pakistan today (June 21, 2025) via the Gabd/Remdan border. Additionally, 342 Iranian citizens have crossed the border back into Iran over the past three days.

Immigration authorities also reported that 77 foreign nationals entered Pakistan in the last three days. Among these foreign nationals, 67 were from Iran, 4 from the UK, 2 from Canada, 3 from Bahrain, and one from Tanzania.

This ongoing movement highlights a structured process for border crossings between Pakistan and Iran, ensuring the safe and regulated transit of citizens from both countries.
