Cambridge Exam Paper Leak Allegations Surface Again After AS-Level Maths Exam

Fresh allegations regarding leaked Cambridge examination papers have emerged after several students claimed that an AS-Level Mathematics paper conducted on Tuesday closely resembled a solved paper that had circulated on social media one day earlier.

Cambridge International Education, which operates under Cambridge University Press & Assessment, stated that it reviews all reports related to examination paper leaks. However, the board clarified that it does not comment publicly on individual cases during ongoing investigations.

A spokesperson for Cambridge said that the examination authority treats such matters seriously and immediately informs schools whenever a verified issue is discovered. The spokesperson also advised students and the public to depend only on official announcements and avoid sharing unverified information online.

The latest controversy comes shortly after similar concerns were raised about the AS-Level Mathematics Paper 9709/12 held on April 29. Following an internal investigation, Cambridge confirmed that the complaints were valid and announced a replacement exam scheduled for June 9.

At the same time, new reports have surfaced regarding the alleged leak of an A-Level Business paper earlier this week, further increasing concerns among students and parents across Pakistan.

Last year, Cambridge officially acknowledged that portions of three AS and A-Level examination papers in Pakistan had been leaked before the scheduled exam dates. The affected papers included AS/A-Level Mathematics Paper 12, Mathematics Paper 42, and Computer Science Paper 22.

After the 2025 paper leak incident, Cambridge offered free November resits to students affected by the compromised examinations.

Cambridge examinations are conducted twice every year, usually in June and November sessions, while results are announced in August and January.
