PTCL Group Leads Cyber Security Awareness Drive, Engages 900+ Employees Across Pakistan

Islamabad: PTCL Group organized a Cyber Security Awareness Seminar at the Ufone Tower Auditorium, attracting strong participation from across the organization. More than 200 employees attended the session in person, while approximately 700 team members joined online from different parts of Pakistan, highlighting the growing importance of cyber security awareness within the telecom sector.

The event was graced by the Director General Cyber Vigilance, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), as the Chief Guest. In his address, he emphasized emerging cyber threats, regulatory expectations, and the critical need for robust cyber security frameworks in today’s rapidly evolving digital and telecom environment.

During the seminar, industry experts and professionals discussed key cyber security challenges faced by telecom operators, including data protection, network security, and risk mitigation strategies. The seminar featured interactive sessions that provided participants with practical insights into safeguarding digital infrastructure and customer information.

According to the organizers, the seminar was exceptionally well organized and widely participated, reaffirming PTCL Group’s commitment to fostering a strong cyber-aware culture.
