All Pakistan Business Forum Signs MOU with Jiaxing Zhimakaimen – China

(October 21st, 2016) – The “All Pakistan Business Forum” (APBF) has signed an MOU with ‘Jiaxing Zhimakaimen Economy and Trade Industrial Zone Management Co. Ltd. China,’ to promote bilateral trade between Pakistan and China and effectively serve the long-term economic interests of the two friendly countries.

apbfThe President of APBF – Mr Ibrahim Qureshi hailed the large scale initiatives of China, to foster rapid developments in the South-Asian region. He also appreciated the efforts of SMEDA and its Head of External Relations Directorate – Mr. Sheharyar Tahir, for the valuable support and facilitation to ensure more robust bilateral trade.Also present at the MOU signing Ceremony were; Mr. Syed Maaz Mahmood – Secretary General APBF, Mr. Asim Shaikh – National Board Member and Mr. Aamir Barry – National Board Member APBF. Senior officials from SMEDA including; Dr Naeem Rauf – GM Central Support, Ms. Nadia Sethi – GM Policy and Planning and Mr. Sheharyar Tahir also graced the occasion.The President of APBF – Mr. Ibrahim Qureshi stated that; “We appreciate China’s robust investment plans and Trans-national initiatives for boosting cross-border trade and business activities. This pioneering venture promises to bring great enrichments to our political, cultural and business relations with China. It inspires new possibilities to set up new industrial zones, especially in the economically deprived areas”.The success of this initiative relies on stronger collaboration of business communities across the borders.
