In a landmark event, the capital city of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJ&K) Muzaffarabad witnessed inauguration of a state-of-the-art Software Technology Park, established through collaborative efforts of Special Communications Organization (SCO) and Read Foundation. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Major General Umar Ahmed Shah, HI(M), Director General SCO, who officially opened the park in a glittering ceremony.
The newly established Software Technology Park in capital city of AJ&K is set to revolutionize region’s IT landscape. The park is expected to create job opportunities for youth in AJ&K and facilitate local workforce to learn niche skills in information technology. It will also contribute towards country’s economic growth and bring prosperity in region.
During inaugural ceremony, Major General Umar Ahmed Shah, HI(M), Director General of SCO shared his excitement about future of Software Technology Park.
