Islamabad, Zubair kasuri: Pakistan – In a swift move to combat online extremism, the Federal Government has formed a Joint Investigation Team (JIT) to investigate a malicious social media campaign that has spread chaos and disorder in the country.
JIT TO PROBE HATE AND EXTREMISM ONLINE
The JIT, comprising top officials from police and cybercrime agencies, will investigate and prosecute individuals responsible for promoting hate and extremism online.

TERMS OF REFERENCE
– Investigate and determine the organized objectives of the accused and their accomplices
– Identify and prosecute culprits in accordance with applicable laws
