Lahore – News Desk: A serious allegation of sexual assault has surfaced against Inspector Imran, in-charge of the District Emergency Unit (DEU) in Lahore, according to a complaint filed through the Pakistan Citizen’s Portal. The complainant, a member of the Regional Emergency Unit (REU) working under the Capital City Police Officer (CCPO), alleges that Inspector Imran sexually assaulted him when he requested leave.

The complaint, registered under reference number PU310125-91728810 and dated January 31, 2025, details a disturbing encounter where Inspector Imran allegedly touched the complainant inappropriately and forced him into a sexual act after initially refusing his leave request. The complainant expressed deep shame and distress over the incident.
The complaint is currently marked as “In Progress” on the Prime Minister’s Performance Delivery Unit (PMDU) system, indicating an ongoing investigation. The matter has been circulating among senior police officers, including the Superintendent of Police (SP) Mobiles, Lahore, with directives to investigate and resolve it “as per law/policy.”
The incident has raised serious concerns about the safety and well-being of police personnel and the internal mechanisms for addressing such complaints. Authorities have yet to release an official statement regarding the allegations.
