Islamabad, News desk: February 11, 2026 — The TCS Group has signed four strategic Memorandums of Understanding with leading institutions from Kazakhstan during the Pakistan–Kazakhstan Business Forum held in Islamabad.
The agreements were signed with the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan, Baiterek National Investment Holding Company, KUSTO Logistics LLP, and Qazpost, Kazakhstan’s national postal organization.

The MoUs were concluded on the sidelines of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s landmark visit to Pakistan and coincide with the Joint Declaration on Establishing Strategic Partnership between the two countries. The declaration outlines enhanced cooperation in political, economic, connectivity, education, and technology sectors.
The new agreements position TCS as a key facilitator in cross-border logistics, finance, trade, and technology collaboration between Pakistan and Kazakhstan.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Khalid Awan, Chairman of TCS Group, said the company is uniquely placed to accelerate economic engagement between the two nations. He added that the partnerships reflect strong confidence in the untapped potential of bilateral trade and investment. He also announced that TCS plans to open an office in Astana in the near future.
Currently, bilateral trade between Pakistan and Kazakhstan stands at approximately USD 250 million. Both governments have set an ambitious target to increase trade volumes to USD 1 billion, aiming to translate political goodwill into tangible economic gains.
The Business Forum served as a platform to strengthen commercial ties and explore new avenues for investment and connectivity between Central Asia and South Asia.
