PSL 9: George Linde Expresses Confidence in Lahore Qalandars’ Bowling Line-up Amidst Early Setbacks

In the aftermath of Lahore Qalandars’ third consecutive loss in PSL 9, South African player George Linde took center stage at the post-match press conference. Despite the challenging start to the tournament for LQ, Linde expressed unwavering confidence in the team’s bowling prowess.

Linde, a left-arm spinner, defended LQ’s fast bowling duo, Haris Rauf and Shaheen Shah Afridi, asserting that the team boasts a world-class bowling attack. He addressed critics by stating, “They know how to bowl,” showcasing faith in the abilities of the bowlers.

Acknowledging his own jet lag after representing his regional side in South Africa earlier in February, Linde humorously remarked, “I’m still in South Africa time, still sleeping.” Despite the personal challenge, Linde seemed focused on contributing to Lahore Qalandars’ success in the upcoming matches.

Reflecting on the atmosphere in Multan, Linde expressed a desire to return, stating, “Hopefully, I can come back to Multan in the future,” highlighting the positive experience he had during the match.

As Lahore Qalandars regroup and head back to Lahore, their next challenge awaits against Karachi Kings on February 24. With a few days to strategize and refine their approach, LQ aims to bounce back and secure victories in the upcoming matches of PSL 9. Stay tuned for more updates on PSL 2024, including the schedule, points table, and squad details.
