Peshawar Zalmi faced a setback in their recent match against Karachi Kings, where they were defeated by seven wickets at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. Despite a commendable performance by skipper Babar Azam, the team succumbed to the bowling prowess of Kings, prompting the need for additional firepower in the squad.
