Pakistan Grants Approval for Honorary Romanian Consul in Peshawar

Islmabad, Zubair Kasuri: The Pakistani Ministry of Interior has given the green light to the appointment of Mr. Masood Ahmad Qazi as the Honorary Consul of Romania in Peshawar.
This decision comes after a security clearance review, prompted by a request from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs earlier this year.
The official confirmation was issued on September 12th, 2024, by Agha Hashir Mehmood Khan, Section Officer (Visa) at the Ministry of Interior.
This appointment marks an important step in strengthening diplomatic ties between Pakistan and Romania, particularly in the northwestern region of the country.
