In a major breakthrough, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Larkana has busted a hawala/hundi racket, arresting four suspects and recovering a staggering amount of foreign currency and Pakistani rupees.

According to FIA Director Abdul Hameed Bhutto, the agency had been tracking the suspects for months before conducting a raid that yielded:

– 11,625 UAE dirhams
– 2,810 Saudi riyals
– $100 US dollars
– Qatari riyals
– Iraqi dinars
– Various prize bonds
– Pakistani currency worth Rs. 2.65 million

The arrested suspects, identified as Imtiaz Ali, Rahim Bakhsh, Mumtaz Ali, and Altaf Shaikh, are believed to be key players in the hawala/hundi network.
