Azad Kashmir Crisis: Gains & Losses

The political situation in Azad Kashmir has been in a state of flux in recent months, following a series of protests led by the Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC). The protests were sparked by a number of issues, including high electricity prices, rising flour costs, and a controversial presidential ordinance.
The JAAC eventually succeeded in getting the government to withdraw the ordinance and meet a number of its other demands. However, there is still a debate about whether the protests have ultimately benefited or harmed the people of Azad Kashmir.
Sardar Amjad Yusuf, a human rights activist and member of the Pakistan Peoples Party, believes that the protests have had a mixed impact. On the one hand, he credits the JAAC for bringing attention to the plight of ordinary Kashmiris. On the other hand, he is concerned about the rise of anti-Pakistan sentiment in Azad Kashmir.
Yusuf also believes that the protests have had a negative impact on the morale of people in Indian-occupied Kashmir. He argues that the people of Azad Kashmir need to be united in order to support the struggle for self-determination in Indian-occupied Kashmir.
In order to resolve the current crisis, Yusuf calls for dialogue between the government, political parties, and the JAAC. He believes that it is important to address the legitimate concerns of the people of Azad Kashmir, while also maintaining a united front against India.
The situation in Azad Kashmir is complex and there are a variety of perspectives on the recent protests. However, there is no doubt that the people of Azad Kashmir are facing a number of challenges. It is important to find a way to address these challenges in a peaceful and constructive manner.
