NADRA Officers at Interior Ministry Cry Foul Over Promotion Board Exclusion

ISLAMABAD News reporter,A group of NADRA officers currently deputed at the Ministry of Interior are raising concerns about their exclusion from the recent Promotion Board, alleging deliberate oversight by HR officials.

The officers, who have been serving in various capacities at the Ministry since 2003, claim they have been unfairly denied consideration for promotion despite possessing outstanding Annual Confidential Reports (ACRs).
“It is to inform the officers of NADRA (06) posted in the Ministry of Interior with different portfolios that only 01 is included in the current Promotion Board,” an anonymous source stated. “This is resulting in grievances to the employees besides having outstanding ACRs.”
The source further alleges that HR is deliberately ignoring these eligible employees, creating a negative perception of the Chairman.
Among those reportedly excluded are:
* Kashan Ahmed, Director FATA House
* Usman Cheema, Deputy Director FATA House
* Raja Amjad, Deputy Director FATA House
* Muhammad Saqib, Section Officer India-1 with additional charge of Section Officer India-2
* Raja Imran Zafar Janjua, Section Officer CDA-2 with additional charge of CDA-3
The officers are requesting the Chairman’s intervention to ensure their cases are reviewed and they are given fair consideration for promotion.
This situation highlights potential issues within the Ministry of Interior’s HR processes and raises questions about transparency and fairness in promotion procedures.
